I started working with NextAdvisor in its infancy as a contractor. My role was to lead all brand initiatives, web site UI, and web development for their startup. I helped to grow that company from the start through its acquisition by BankRate and eventually Red Ventures by managing and designing all aspects of front-end development/design, UI/UX, as well as all sales and performance marketing collateral.
NextAdvisor is a credit card comparison site that would provided users all the information they would need to decide what credit card was right for them.
Goal:
Create new look and feel for the brand and site that is friendly and casual while still being informational and trustworthy.

Mobile and Sub-Pages
As a content heavy site with a lot of information being presented, a clean and straightforward layout allows users to get the information they want. Many of the users enter the site through NextAdvisor articles and don’t really navigate the site thoroughly, so we would highlight the key features of the cards without a lot of clutter to allow them to make their decision, with a clear path on where to get more information or apply with the issuer as quickly as possible on both desktop and mobile.
